This Privacy Policy explains how Vector PDR (“Vector,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use the Vector PDR application and related services. Vector PDR is a field tool for paint‑and‑dent and hail‑repair professionals. It is operated by Steven Clark.

We have written this policy in plain language because we want you to actually understand it. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Who this policy covers

Vector is a subscription product. Its features, including storm and hail alerts, are available to Vector subscribers. This policy describes the information we handle for subscribers and the people they authorize to use their account.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

• Account information. The email address and basic account details used to set up and sign in to Vector, and to manage your subscription.
• Alert preferences. If you choose to receive storm or hail alerts, the email address and the location or area you ask us to watch, so we can send you relevant alerts.
• Information you enter while using Vector. The data you create as you work — such as map pins, notes, session activity, and vehicle look‑ups you run inside the tool. This is your working data, used to provide the service to you and your account.
• Basic technical information. Standard information needed to deliver and secure a web application, such as device or browser type and error reports, used to keep Vector working and to fix problems.

We do not ask for, and Vector is not intended to collect, sensitive personal information beyond what is described above.

How we use information

• To provide and operate Vector and its features.
• To send the storm and hail alerts you have asked to receive.
• To manage your subscription and account, and to provide support.
• To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and improve how it works.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share it for advertising or for anyone else’s marketing.

When we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only in these limited, necessary cases:

• Service providers who run Vector for us. We use trusted companies to host data, send email, process payments, and provide maps and related services. They handle information only to perform those functions for Vector and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Vector, our users, or others.
• Business transfer. If Vector is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Storm and hail alerts

Alerts are part of the Vector subscription. If you have alerts turned on, you can turn them off at any time from within the app, or by using the unsubscribe link included in alert emails. When you unsubscribe from alert emails, we stop sending them.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we remove or de‑identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, including secured connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit who can access it.

Your choices

• You can turn alerts on or off at any time.
• You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• You can close your account by contacting us.

Children

Vector is a tool for repair professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the service.
